What's Up Today?
ThToday Distorted Vision continues to work on new styles and new sounds. With their own brand new recording studio finished in January of 2001, DV plans the release of their third album in mid to late 2001. DV continues to tour the new album in the LA, Orange and Riverside Counties of Southern California.
Distorted Vision has been recognized on several web based music sites. The song Superstitious hit the #1 spot on MP3.com and stayed in the top 40 for over 8 weeks. The recently shut down site of Riffage.com was one of the best sponsors for DV. Waiting, Mary, Superstitious and Blindman stayed in the top 40 since they submitted their music!Waiting, Mary and Superstitious held in the top 10 for more then 10 weeks.
Distorted Vision is also doing very well on Farmclub.com, garageband.com, IUMA, ICAST and several other sites.
Distorted Vision is being played on over 40 internet radio station throughout the globe.

The History and Story Behind DV
DV....the story
Originating from Riverside California... DV was formed in 1995 by Fabian Larez and close friend Dennis Todd. They soon met up with drummer, Gary Goss which formed the initial trio called "The Scraps". They soon brought on "Jar", bass player, and the band took on a new sound along with a new name, "Pownd". This short lived name was quickly changed to Distorted Vision.
Several house parties and a few sports bars later, DV started moving into the Orange County Club and showcase scene. DV, a "non-cover" band, stayed away from performing cover songs and was immediately recognized for their own original punchy sound. A small following of good friends and family soon grew to a strong "draw." Club 369 and The Shack, both in Anaheim, CA, sponsored the band and put them up against some of the strongest bands around. DV held in there and continues to gain great reviews in Orange, LA and Riverside Counties.
The four members feed off each other's energy during the shows, Fabian being the wildman! A tremendous artist with aggressive stage presence. DV's sound is diverse... from a Alternative Pop/Rock sound to the Progressive Metal sound that pounds right through your soul. DV currently has over 60 original tracks and the list is growing. Fabian Larez - Lead Guitar and Vocals (top left)
From Riverside California, Fabian has thrived on mastering his guitar since a young teen. Fabian plays a Les Paul on a stack of Marshall's. A pronounced vocalist from who knows where? Fabian is into himself BIGTIME!
Dennis Todd - Guitar and Vocals (top right)
Dennis Todd born in Southern California has been playing Guitar along side his long time friend Fabian Larez. Dennis gives the band it's solid foundation with his aggressive style of playing.
Gary Goss - Drums and Vocals (bottom right)
Born in Southern California, Gary, a relatively novice drummer of seven years has developed a strong backing for the band. Gary plays on a Pearl drum set and doesn't hesitate to play it up! He's into himself a bit too!
Jar - Bass (bottom left)
"Jar" brings in the thump of the bands sound. "Jar" another Southern Californian joined the band in early 1996. "Jar" is quite the show-off with his strong riff's on his Ibanez.
